Dustin Whitney D.C.

Doctor Dustin Whitney D.C. attended the University of Alberta, Edmonton studying kinesiology and human physiology. He is a first generation chiropractor earning a doctorate of Chiropractic, Magna Cum Laude, in 2006 from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

At graduation Dr. Whitney received acceptance into the Phi Tau Delta Chiropractic Honours Society. While in school, he completed post-graduate training as a Blair Upper Cervical Practitioner, achieving Level I instructor certification through the Blair Upper Cervical Society. As a student, Dr. Whitney began his post-doctoral training in functional neurology through the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies, Marietta, Georgia.

He has complete continuing education in clinical nutrition, exercise physiology, toxicity removal and lifestyle coaching. After establishing Alberta Preventative Health Services in 2012, Dr. Whitney has worked with hundreds of families, by helping them to reduce their risk factors for disease, en route to achieving their optimal health potential.

Since witnessing the decline of his mother’s health from life-threatening clinical depression and aiding in her eventual recovery, Dr. Whitney is committed to leading his patients toward reaching their true health potential. His goal is to rebuild a healthy community one family at a time. Dr. Whitney has focused his career on serving his city, inspiring responsibility, and re-establishing health as a top priority for Canadians. Some of his most valued contributions include his involvement with Project Homeless and the creation of the Free-Chiropractic clinic at The Mustard Seed in 2012.

Dr. Whitney places family first. He is married to Dr. Claire Whitney DDS, who is the co-owner of Downtown Dental and a team dentist for the Calgary Flames. They met in high school where they grew up in Sherwood Park, Alberta and were married in 2007. They moved to Calgary and now have three children, Anna, Olivia and Eli. The family enjoys skiing, hiking, ultimate frisbee, fitness and spending time together. Dr. Whitney's family receives regular chiropractic care as part of a wellness/ prevention lifestyle. He is experienced with taking care of mother's through pregnancy and post-natally, as well as infant, newborns and children.

Rylan Bokis D.C.

Rylan Bokis D.C.

Dr. Bokis graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic, Magna Cum Laude, in 2026 from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He completed his undergraduate with honours in kinesiology from UBC. Dr. Bokis is committed to continuing education and providing evidence-informed treatment tailored to each individual’s needs and goals.

Dr. Bokis is passionate about helping patients restore movement, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life through personalized chiropractic care. Originally from Revelstoke, British Columbia, he developed a strong appreciation for health, fitness, and an active lifestyle from an early age.

He focuses on treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions including back pain, neck pain, headaches, sports injuries, posture-related tension, and mobility restrictions. Dr. Bokis uses a hands-on approach that may include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, corrective exercises, and movement-based rehabilitation to help patients achieve lasting results.

Dr. Bokis believes true health begins with proper movement and function. His goal is to help patients not only recover from pain, but also build strength, resilience, and confidence in their bodies so they can continue doing what they love.

Outside of the clinic, he enjoys hockey, golf, training, and spending time outdoors. Dr. Bokis looks forward to serving the Calgary community and helping patients live healthier, more active lives.

03Massage Therapist

Mio Honda R.M.T.

Mio grew up in Japan and moved to Calgary in 2011. She completed her Massage Therapy Program at the Institute of Massage Therapy in 2014. She is passionate about helping people with massage, and her goal is to customize client's treatments specific to their needs.

Mio is trained in Swedish massage, relaxation, Thai yoga massage, pre and postnatal, hot stone massage, reflexology, and myofascial cupping. Her philosophy is based on balance and wellness. She believes massage is an excellent art to help the body's self-healing process and to maintain physical, emotional, mental and spiritual Health.

Outside her work, Mio enjoys spending time with her two sons and friends, yoga, skiing and hiking, as well as reading books and watching movies.

Her clinic hours are Monday afternoons, Wednesday mornings and Thursday afternoons (alternating).

Sarah Moorhouse R.M.T.

Sarah Moorhouse R.M.T.

Sarah is a graduate of Vicars School of Massage Therapy, where she developed a strong foundation in both therapeutic and relaxation massage. She uses a client-centered, evidence-based approach to create personalized treatment plans.

Treatments may include therapeutic or relaxation massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization, and remedial exercise or stretching when appropriate. Sarah believes that effective treatment begins with listening and working collaboratively to develop realistic treatment plans that support long-term progress rather than just short-term relief. She enjoys helping clients better understand their bodies and providing simple strategies to support their progress between treatments. By combining hands-on treatment with client education, her goal is for every client to leave feeling heard, supported, and more confident in their movement.

She has a particular interest in helping clients return to their daily activities by reducing pain, improving movement, and increasing their confidence.

Outside the clinic, Sarah enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as her two pet reptiles. She loves being outdoors snowboarding, hiking, and swimming.
